You’ve got fans in South Africa too Brad. Just believe that some day it’s going to be better. You’re in good company with Oscar Wilde, Alan Turing and Nelson Mandela. History will vindicate you and condemn those who were against you. The pendulum swings.
]]>Just want to let people know that we sent off a box overflowing with lovely, hand-knitted things to keep Bradley’s support group warm during the Fall and Winter as they bring to light more about the information Bradley brought to light for us all.
Blog post and some photos of some of what we sent are at: http://www.occupyknit-in.org.

]]>“Freedom” — they always say how it isn’t free–and I think that’s right, but not the way they say it, as though in order to be free, we must go overseas and fight “enemies” we don’t know who never came near our homes and families. I think it means we must have moral courage in addition to physical courage and stand up for those who do right by us. I understand the feeling of betrayal that some service members may have toward Pfc. Manning but this is because they have not understood that the fight for freedom is not just overseas, it is here at home. Sending our fighting men and women out of the country when our freedoms are at risk here is something that has been a real concern to me.
Manning followed his conscience and tried to go through channels and was rebuffed, this is what the Media doesn’t tell you–that he DID try.
Freedom for Bradley.
