Bradley spirits soar at mention of democratic uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt
David House, friend of Bradley Manning and his only regular visitor, saw Manning on Sunday at the brig in Quantico. Though a broad coalition of journalists, activists, psychologists and nonprofits have called for the United States government to stop the inhumane confinement conditions of Bradley Manning, he has faced yet another week in solitary confinement.
House reported that Manning appeared depressed but perked up significantly when he heard the news about the youth-led democratic uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia. David tweeted: “Bradley is in a shocked state due to solitary confinement, but his mood and mind soared when I mentioned the democratic uprisings in Egypt”
