Being from Denmark Europe…
By its actions, the U.S. government–and its shameful, guilty president admit that the U.S. is committing crimes in its treatment of Bradley Manning.
The rationale is simple: if they can drive Bradley crazy with their constant torture, they can lock him away somewhere for the rest of his life. And only half a million Americans think that this is wrong, immoral, illegal, criminal.

Great idea, Great Movement! I’m including Brad in my own fasting, in conjunction with Sojourners in Washington and a numbeer of secular progessive organizatdions…in the spirit of Ghandi, M.L. King, and Caesar Chavez. I’m contemplating some further private action at Quantico, but am American living in Canada and with some family problems.

Bradley is one of the great heros of our time. I’m glad thousands are praying for him and when he walks out of Quantico, I’ll be there with bells on. Keep up the good work, and don’t get discouraged–it’s worth it,and thank you all the heros who are working on this cause. Love ya all, Carol
We should make a dedicated effort to get the Nobel Peace Prize commitee to award PFC Manning an Juliane Assange this prize. It their efforts result in stopping more U.S. foreign wars I doubt if Washington could withstand the aftermath around the world. steve, WW2, USN

Obama is one of those persons who cannot stand unpleasantness. I believe he was sincere in his intentions at the beginning of his term. However, when someone opposed him, he caved. You cannot negotiate with supporters of greed which is what most members of the Republican Party are.
While I can understand the anger directed at our disappointing president, our country is run by people with money not by our elected officials. The hope we have in an elected official vaporizes the moment the lobbyists get their hands on the pol. Bradley Manning’s freedom lies with centralized activism where our entire nation can set things right for him and other whistle blowers. Of course, laking a centralized site for activism, this bradleymanning.org site is the next best thing. I commend their efforts.
Please do something to spread information about Bradley Manning’s case in my country, Italy! The majority of the people is totally unaware about it!
Don’t be afraid to raise your voice in protest at this injustice! Write your congressperson; contribute both financially and actively by joining forces with others! March, protest if you are physically able, if not contribute what you can financially! A little can go a long way. Remember YOU ARE THE ONE YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!

There is no change even if Bradley goes free, unless the criminals whom he exposed are charged , and punished for their war crimes(including and especially the top commanders).The treason that has been exposed by Manning’s act of conscience must be punished and the victims of the injustices must be compensated as much as can be. Then justice can start to bring peace. The talk should be of bringing all the villains to justice and righting the wrongs that he exposed. Finish what he started, is the route to helping him, it’s him, or them.

We have just started our activists web site and named Bradley an honorary White Rose Hero.
The recent pattern of American violations of international law are ultimately based in the corruption of the USA domestic legal system. The reality is that the United States of America, which proclaims itself the “land of freedom”, has the most dishonest, dangerous and crooked legal system of any developed nation. Legal corruption is covering America like a blanket. Bradley doesn’t stand a chance in this environment.
It’s ashaming how the US doublethink works…
War-Criminals remain unpunised while those who inform are subject to illegal detention and propably torture (or why is the UN spechal rapporeur on torture denied to speak with Manning alone and face-to-face?)
Unfortunately, hee in Germany it’s the same… We don’t torture, we asked the Lybians (under Ghaddafi) and nowadays the USA to extract information via rubberhose-cryptography…
